![]() They also have a lipliner for each lippie stick, some of which are exact color matches (as is the case for Bichette), and some of which are different in color, but accompany each other very well nonetheless. Use your 1st grade mental math skills and, yes, that’s $5 a lipstick, which is a steal for the quality of these bad boys. I love purples and I love Beyoncé, so this shade and I were kind of a match made in heaven.Ĭolourpop is a brand that’s new to my my makeup arsenal, and I’ve appreciated their presence ever since I spent $30 on their website on 6 of their lippies. It’s described as a deep red violet in a satin finish, and it's perfect for all you Beyoncé lovers out there who want to wake up like this. I find it difficult for me to wear bright cherry reds on a daily basis as they have a way of being the center of any look, which can be overwhelming.Īnother loud, bold, and colorful lippie stick from Colourpop I love is Flawless. This color is my perfect red, as it’s a darker red with neutral undertones, and it is very easy to wear. Very NARS, very chic, and very luxurious.Īnother deep red that I have been Regina-George-“why are you so obsessed with me?”-level obsessed with is the ColourPop Cosmetics Lippie in Bichette. It’s become my go-to vampy red lipstick (along with my next favorite), and the packaging sleek, black, and simple. NARS Audacious Lipstick in Charlotte ($32) is a long lasting “oxblood burgundy” satin finish lipstick. Which is a shame, since it costs a whopping $32, but I love this color and formula more than any of my other expensive lippies (aka my coveted YSL rouge volupte lipsticks). Next up is a new discovery of mine that became a I-Have-To-Own-That-Product from the moment I saw it on my friend’s face. Both are under $4 and are well worth the price. They are Wet N Wild Megalast Lipstick in Sugar Plum Fairy and Wet n Wild Ferguson Crest Cabernet from the Fergie line. There are two far cheaper drugstore dupes for Rebel, and they’re both Wet n Wild products. It’s the dark lip that looks good with almost any eye combo and almost any outfit. You can use it alone, or vamp it up with MAC’s lipliner in Currant. MAC describes it as a “midtonal cream plum with a satin finish”, but I’ll go ahead and describe it as my comfort blanket. If I’m ever having a bad day or just feel like rocking a winged liner with minimal shadow, Rebel is my go-to-lipstick. It’s a cult classic, an all around fav, and if you’ve watched any beauty videos at all about dark lipstick, you’ve heard of this baby. BIG BOOTY GIRL DRESSED LIKE INCREDIBLES ELASTY GIRL TUMBLR MACOne of my first discoveries of the dark lippie world is MAC Rebel($16), which I bought last year and have been in love with ever since. It gets pretty brisk and cloudy in the PNW autumn and winter months, and cold weather and dark lipstick sort of go together like preteen girls and their PSLs, so naturally I’ve been loving the opportunity to rock some of my staple dark lip products. People tend to either love it or leave it and I it. Lipstick - it’s feminine, it’s flirty, it’s sexy. ![]()
